The Golden Coin Hunt
Inspired by the 1971 film " Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory," Willamette Valley Vineyards has placed a total of 1,700 Golden Coins under the capsules of their wines since 2020.
When Someone finds a Golden Coin, Willamette Valley Vineyards will donate $50 to a local local food bank of their choice and send the finder a gift from the winery. The Finder of the Golden Coin will also be entered in a raffle to win an all-expenses paid wine-country getaway to the Willamette Valley Vineyards Estate in the Salem Hills, of Oregon, awarded each year to one person and their guests.
With your participation Willamette Valley Vineyards has donated to food banks in every part of the country, including food banks in Sacramento, California; Hawaii; North Texas: Florida and Middletown, Maryland.
As people look forward to the December release of the movie "Wonka" - the prequel to the original - we celebrate the inspiration the story sparked for us and the resulting impact.
