Join us for an unforgettable evening inside The Vault as we welcome Ann Marie Sgroi, expert educator from Bodega Catena Zapata, one of Argentina’s most celebrated wineries. This interactive seminar dives deep into the fascinating world of Malbec - from the vine to your very own custom blend.

We’ll begin with a welcoming flight featuring Catena Alta Chardonnay and Catena Alta Cabernet Sauvignon, as Ann Marie guides us through the storied history of the Catena family and the remarkable terroir of Mendoza.

Then, prepare your palate for a hands-on blending experience! You’ll taste five unique component wines -each representing a different vineyard altitude and microclimate—and discover how soil, elevation, and sunlight shape the character of Malbec. After learning the nuances of each, you’ll get to craft your own Malbec blend and see how it compares to the acclaimed Catena Alta Malbec.

To finish, we’ll savor two icons of the estate: the legendary Malbec Argentino, a dramatic expression of the grape’s journey through time, and the Catena Zapata Argentino Malbec.
