More than two decades later, that's still what sets us apart. Our team, close to 30 strong in season, trains on product knowledge, not just register skills, so when you ask a question about a bourbon or a Wine Vault pick, you get a real answer.

We've built one of the largest selections on the Delmarva Peninsula: around 3,000 wines, 300+ beers, and one of Sussex County's deepest bourbon lineups, alongside exclusive BWS Single Barrel picks you won't find anywhere else. And since Delaware has no sales tax, what you see on the shelf is what you pay.

That approach earned us Beverage Dynamics' national Retailer of the Year starting 2018 and every year since, plus multiple Coastal Style Magazine wins for Best Liquor Store and Best Beer & Wine Store. But the recognition we care about most is the regulars who've been walking through our doors since year one.

Banks Wines & Spirits opened its doors in February 2003, started by Russell and Mackie Banks, who saw Millville needed a real bottle shop, not just another convenience-store cooler. Their daughter, Kami Banks Kane, now runs it the same way it started: owner-operated, hands-on, no corporate playbook.
